Simple Raspberry Bars
Servings: 24 bars
Equipment
- 9"x13" baking pan
Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour sifted
- dash salt
- 1½ cups raspberry jam (More is really needed. If possible find an 18 oz. jar.)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar
- Mix in flour and salt
- Press ¾ of this mixture into an un-greased 9×13 pan
- Warm the jam slightly in a microwave to make it spreadable
- Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top.
- Bake for 40 minutes
- Cut into bars.
