Simple Raspberry Bars

Servings: 24 bars

Equipment

  • 9"x13" baking pan

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups flour sifted
  • dash salt
  • cups raspberry jam (More is really needed. If possible find an 18 oz. jar.)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar
  • Mix in flour and salt
  • Press ¾ of this mixture into an un-greased 9×13 pan
  • Warm the jam slightly in a microwave to make it spreadable
  • Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the top.
  • Bake for 40 minutes
  • Cut into bars.
