Red Beet Salad
This is a beet salad recipe that "can't be beet!".

Marinade
- 2 Tbsp water
- ¼ cup vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp onion minced
- 1 Tbsp horseradish prepared
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 5 Tbsp vegetable oil
Wash beets, trim off greens, place in a medium saucepan, and cook, without peeling, in salted water until beets are tender.
Peel beets, and slice.
Prepare marinade dressing by combining remaining ingredients. Pour over beets and let stand for several hours in refrigerator before serving. Stir beets occasionally.
